The Alexandre III bridge
Inaugurated for the 1900 World Fair, this Art Nouveau masterpiece is often considered as Paris’s most splendid bridge, with its lamps, cherubs and nymphs. The columns at both ends help to anchor the piers that absorb the enormous forces caused by such a large single-span arch. The four winged horses on the pillars represent Sciences, Art, Trade and Industry.
The Palais des Congrès
Open in 1974, this exemplary setting for exceptional events is located at the crossroads of Parisian business life. With its adjustable grand amphitheatre which can contain more than 3,700 people, its conference rooms and lounges, its huge facilities, the Palais des Congrès is among the preferred partners for various large-scale events organizers.
The Grande Arche
The Grande Arche, an architectural success, was conceived as a 20th-century version of the Arc de Triomphe: a monument dedicated to humanitarian ideals rather than to military victories. It is particularly the headquarters of the Foundation for Human Rights. When taking the panoramic lifts, you can reach the terrace of the roof from which you will enjoy the striking perspective on the Champs-Élysées, the Place de la Concorde and the Carrousel du Louvre.
