Great location, fine accomodation, good service… I recommend this small but fine hotel to everyone who prefers to stay on the Left Bank when they visit Paris. Rooms are a decent size by Paris standards, facilities in the room are above average for a Parisian boutique hotel…like kettle, robe, slippers, towel heater, plasma tv, fast & reliable internet connection. Last but not least : service is friendly and very helpful.
We picked this hotel after doing lots of cross referencing from books, this site and other sites. When we arrived at 12.30pm with our 3yo we were told our room would be ready in 45 mins, after 2 1/2 hours we finally got into our room and were very happy with what we had chosen.
The rooms are beutifully renovated and spacious in Paris terms, new bathroom, sofa and seperate toilet, LCD TV A/C and nice tonings and of course FREE internet in your room with your own laptop . The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants and cafe’s on the doorstep and we just walked back from the “Arc de Triomphe” and the “champs elysees” and walking casually it took us 50 mins but it is a nice walk.
The tour bus that is a hop on hop of bus that goes to all major sites has a pick up point only a hundred meters or so away so you can access all of Paris for the day for only 29 euros.
Downsides to this hotel is the small B/Fast area and tiny lift and the parking if you have a car is across the street at 25euro a day other than that it is well worth the money.
Very good small clean hotel in fantastic location. although right on st germain blvd, noise ie not an issue. from room 402 can people watch till past midnight! metro is steps away, monoprix is round the corner. excellent coffe, croissants for breakfast, which is included. front desk especially ursula helpful. good food abounds, try le parisien for lunch, le petit zinc, and tavern st germain.my 6 4 and 6 year olds ate chocolate crepes from the guy in front of st germain metro every day!
We’ve stayed many places in Paris but this is our new favorite place. Loved the neighborhood feel of this gem on the Left Bank. The rooms were very fresh, clean, quiet and were an oasis after long days of immersing ourselves in Paris. The staff was most accomodating and helpful. We’ve recommended it to all our friends.
This was my third trip to Paris and, of the 3 hotels, this is the one I’ll recommend to friends. Lovely and safe neighborhood, very nice room, convenient to Metro, lots of restaurants (head to the right as you leave the hotel for a good selection of some less expensive ones). Appreciated the mini-fridge, which we stocked with drinks from the Monoprix around the corner (Monoprix has a grocery in the back of the basement where you can pick up a 6-pack of water for under a euro; the front of the basement has a large section of prepared foods you could picnic with). Hotel staff helpful, spoke English well. We appreciated the fresh fruits at breakfast and the free internet hookup in room (we brought our own computer).
