Our family stayed for 6 nights and found the hotel and room small but quite pleasant. The atmosphere was exactly what we wanted for a Left Bank stay. Our 3d floor room was tight with 4 beds, but not uncomfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful for the most part, especially Lorette and Robert. They spoke English and did not laugh at our tries at French. The evening clerk for a couple of the nights was very reserved and could not offer much help in selecting places to eat.
We arranged for van shuttles from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the airport. Reading comments here raised a few questions but both worked wonderfully.
Breakfast was good and served in a pleasant area off the lobby. The lobby was elegant and welcoming. Free, fast WiFi/internet was definite plus (as during the next part of our trip the more starred hotels charged a fee for a slow connection).
The location is terrific. Many tourists of all sorts (which could be considered a plus or a minus depending on your view). The area was very busy in the early evening at all the cafes and restaurants. Close to Metro and RER. Walking around the area was one of the best parts of the trip.
I would recommend this hotel for a good experience getting to know Paris.
